Moneytrail is designed with your privacy in mind. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data Collection

Moneytrail does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No user accounts or registration required
• No analytics or tracking
• No cookies or identifiers
• No network requests or internet connection required

Local Storage

Your business details, clients and invoices are stored only on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Moneytrail/. They are never uploaded to any server. To make a backup, quit the app and copy this folder.

Email

When you choose Send by Email or Email, Moneytrail opens a new message in Mail with the invoice PDF attached. Moneytrail does not send email itself. Mail sends the message only when you send it.

Third-Party Services

Moneytrail does not integrate with any third-party services or APIs.
